Scuba Swap

About Scuba Swap
The Swap is organized by the Ontario Underwater Explorers scuba club. The club has been around since 1965 and has been hosting swaps since 1992.
New and used gear is offered in the area of more than 3000 sq.ft., making it the largest event of this kind in the province. It gathers divers, dive shops and enthusiasts from all over — a great opportunity to buy at great prices, to sell to motivated buyers — or just to meet old buddies and have a chat.
Selling at Scuba Swap
Bring your gear the day before the event to register it - and we do everything else! You just need to pick up your cheque and unsold gear at the end of the Swap.
Pricing
We encourage pricing the items aggressively for sale. Pricing experts available to help you determine the appropriate price, but the final decision is the seller’s. Two prices can be specified:
-
Initial price
-
Discount price – if the item does not sell by noon, you can opt to have its price lowered
-
Neither price can be under $5 – please bundle smaller items together.
Fees
Registration fee: $10 includes up to 10 items. 50¢ for each additional item.
Commission: 10% of the value sold.

Volunteering
The event is organized by the members and friends of the Ontario Underwater Explorers scuba club who join before April. Volunteer sign-up happens in March at the Etobicoke Olympium Main Floor Meeting Room. There we will be explaining the responsibilities of the different volunteer roles - if you'd like to find out more earlier, contact us.
